Long Hai Co.,Ltd was established at the house of 10/1 Bui Thi Xuan Street, Le Thanh Nghi Ward, Hai Duong City with an area of 340 meters square after 6 months studying and buying jelly technology and machines in China.

The company bought 2 jelly making machines. After 3 months of installing the machines and all necessary equipments, jelly making system was completed in Jun 2001. About 20 staffs of Long Hai at that time were pleased to welcome the first products of the company.

After 1 year of releasing the first products, the Board of Directors and all staffs have overcome many difficulties to introduce Long Hai products to distributors, to make changes in product designs and materias and mobilize money to maintain manufacturing.

Long Hai moved the head office of the company to the Industrial Cluster Zone 2, Cam Thuong Ward, Hai Duong City. The new space is about 6000 meters square, containing operator area, production area, finished product warehouse and raw material warehouse, which are all well equipped and contained for production. Job opportunities and work capacity increased 15 times that helped Long Hai products dominate the Chinese low priced leftovers. It is also the chance for the company to develop their products to new lands – South Central Coast and Highland.

Social media reported plastic spoons and cups used in Jelly and Milk products in Vietnam were made from medical wastes, which pushed Jelly and Milk Industries into crisis.

After many efforts, Long Hai successfully proved that plastic spoons and cups of the company were made from PP plastic, totally followed to Food Safety Requirements, Decision No 3339, dated on 30th July 2001 of Ministry of Health.

Long Hai Co.,Ltd built up a new factory at Industrial Cluster I, Gia Xuyen Commune, Gia Loc District, Hai Duong Province with the area of 5 times bigger than the old one. This new factory is really a development chance for Long Hai in the future.

Long Hai completed the second movement of company to new area – Industrial Cluster I, Gia Xuyen Commune, Gia Loc District, Hai Duong Province. A $-6-million-investment factory was established. The factory was well-equipped with labs to check quality of products according to ISO 22000:2005, new departments were opened to manage the modern factory to meet strict requirements of International Quality Management System ISO 22000:2005 and HACCP.

Long Hai’s fanpage was lauched officially, being the bridge that brings products of company closer to customers in Vietnam. In the same year, Long Hai was awarded Silver Prize – National Quality Award.

Long Hai received Gold Prize – National Quality Award and Merit from the Prime Minister about the impressive business results.

Long Hai operated the whole new automatic factory and production line, which meets the Food Safety Requirements. The total investment for it reaches more than 4 million dollars.

Long Hai was recognized as National Brand with products: Long Hai Fruity Jelly, Long Hai Drinking Jelly, Long Hai Natty Yogurt Jelly, Long Hai Caramel Lapatie and Exite Drinking Jelly.
